A peplum blazer is such a versatile piece! You can wear it with dresses, pencil skirts, maxi skirts, jeans, pants etc. It can work with casual as well as formal outfits. Peplum is one of my favorite trends!

Maxi skirts are beautiful! They’re feminine and flirty in their own way. I paired this bronzy peplum blazer with a neon orange maxi skirt because I loved the contrast. The orange skirt is what makes the look pop! I also adore the slits on the sides.

I wore a black tank under the blazer. Gold complements orange really well so I paired the outfit with gold accent accessories.

Lastly, I wanted a wild element so I wore these amazing animal print peep toes! 😀

Outfit Of The Day! Mixing Prints!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Thursday, 22nd August 2013

Striped Tank, Floral Skirt, Chambray Shirt, Blue Shoes, Orange Bag!

Quick Tip on mixing prints :

Remain in the same color palette. Pairing prints of clashing colors together can be a bit of a challenge. Choose prints that are complementary and not overpowering. I have used thin strips with light florals.

Thick strips with light florals would look imbalanced and so would thin stripes with huge flowers.

The key is to create balance between your upper and lower body!
