OOTD – Sareez and Grace!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Thursday, 23rd July 2015

Hello everyone!

When I was a little girl, I used to daydream about the day when I could wear a saree without it being inappropriate! Now that I’m 23 and have worn the wonderful garment quite a few times, I still get a wee bit excited to don the womanly piece.

I proudly own a handful of them in my closet and I’m gradually building my collection of wonderful sarees! As I have a close friendly wedding to attend, I started scouring the internet for my “it-saree”. When I landed at sareez.com, I was pleasantly surprised to see the immense variety they offer. From every imaginable fabric to endless colour and finish options, you’ll definitely find something of your liking and taste. They also cater to every pocket and budget so you are bound to end your search with something beautiful within your quoted price.

I am not gonna deny that I have a special place in my heart for black sarees. I already own 4-5 black sarees but I just can’t get enough. Here is one I picked up from Sareez.com. Hope you like the pictures! 🙂

OOTD – Edgy Red

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Monday, 29th June 2015

Hello everyone.

Today’s post is about the outfit that I wore to the Jabong Beauty Blogger Meet.

Seen on me is a gorgeous red floral dress that I designed. I love simple, sweet and girly summer dresses in this hot weather. I purchased the cloth from my local store and designed this understated dress with quarters sleeves and a skater style. Such dresses are incredibly comfortable and look super cute on their own but I wanted to take it a step further with accessories.

I decided to edge up an otherwise girl next door dress with a broad belt and gladiator heels. A black tote was my bag of choice to carry all my essentials in. I especially love how the heart sunglasses match so perfectly with my dress!

OOTD – Boho Vibes!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Monday, 22nd June 2015

Hello everyone!

I bought a lot of fun skirts from Sarojini Nagar recently (haul video will be up soon) so, I wanted to create a boho inspired look. I usually like to dress up in sophisticated, clean lines and structured, fitted clothes but I wanted to venture out of my little comfortable space and create an all-new look.

This is my take on boho. I have paired this beautiful embellished crop top that I’ve had lying in the back of my closet since ages. The skirt is a stunning plain black maxi skirt with a side slit that gives it just a little something extra.

I decided to add a modern take to this look by pairing gold metallic pointed-toe pumps. Of course, you can rock a pair of strappy or gladiator flats with this look too. My handbag is a simple black clutch with gold accents.

The star of this look for me is the choker. I found this breathtaking choker in Sarojini Nagar and it was a steal! The rest of the jewelry is kept to a minimum with the exception of a minimal arm cuff.

OOTD – Cold Shoulders and Denim!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Saturday, 30th May 2015

Hello everyone!

I recently went out for a chill day with a couple of close friends. We had a great lunch at Johnny Rockets and ended up shopping a little!

White2

If you’ve been following me for a bit, you’ve probably noticed that I’m not much of a jeans wearer. I am a lot more comfortable in maxi skirts, trousers, jeggings, pencil skirts etc. But, I was missing my trusty skinny jeans and wanted to create a casual, chilled-out look with one of my favourite pairs!

White1

White

I love Forever21 for their reasonably priced skinny jeans. This is a gorgeous dark washed pair that fits me like second skin!

White7

You also probably know about my love affair with bodysuits since I feature them a lot in my outfits. This is an off-shoulder white leotard from StalkBuyLove. I love that this is full-sleeved which is my preferred sleeve length and it goes well with almost everything in my closet!

White3

White4

I am usually a gold jewellery fanatic but I wanted to add small splashes of silver to my look which reflects on my pumps as well. This is a stunning studded black pair from StyleTag.

White5

White6

The bag is a fringed sling ( also from StalkBuyLove ) which I am totally obsessed with at the moment! To jazz up this otherwise casual, simple look a little more, I decided to wear these beautiful earrings from BGs as an earcuff.

OOTD – Leather and Fringes!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Sunday, 24th May 2015

Hello everyone!

I am absolutely loving fringes at the moment! Be it in bags, shoes, clothes et al. I got this super cool fringe bag from StalkBuyLove and wanted to create a look around it. At first, I thought of creating a bohemian look but decided to go the edgier route with these leather pants from Forever21.

Leather3

Leather6

Leather1

I love how this look turned out. The top I’m wearing is actually a leotard from Shop Nineteen. If you’ve been following me for a bit, you know about my obsession with leotards. The slight shimmer gives the leotard a very disco feel. Reminds me of the 70s!

Leather2

Leather5

I have paired my look with these gorgeous zebra print pumps that I bought a white ago from Stilettos. I recently hauled a bunch of shoes and you can check out my massive shoe haul HERE

The look is completed with a bit of silver bling and smokey eyes with a pop of pink on the lips!

OOTD – An Indian take!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Wednesday, 20th May 2015

Hello everyone!

Today’s post is going to be slightly different from my usual OOTDs. I attended a very special wedding of a close friend’s sister and wore this suit for the engagement function. I didn’t know if you’d like to see a dressed up Indian look which is why I didn’t post this earlier but then I realised this suit is too pretty to not share!

.

I was on the hunt for the perfect suit until I found this one and instantly knew this is what I wanted to wear. It has beautiful embroidery work on the front with panels going all the way down to the bottom. The suit is sheer waist down and comes semi-stitched. I decided to get pant-style bottoms stitched with a patch of embroidery on the front leg portion. I love how this is a fun, modern take on the contemporary Indian suit and looks absolutely fabulous!

P3

P4

P6

P2

Since the kurta is so busy, the dupatta is totally unnecessary and you can skip it if you want but I feel like no Indian suit is complete until you wear a dupatta. It is also available in mint, pink and blue, all of which are beautiful. I went with purple because it is one of the more unexplored colours in my collection.

P5

P8

I am a total bindi lover! Whenever I wear something Indian, I almost always add a bindi for the complete desi look!

P10

P11

P12

I created a smokey bronze look on my eyes with a dash of purple on the lower waterline. I wanted the lips to be a pop of pink to match my shoes!

OOTD – Prints & Flutes!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Wednesday, 6th May 2015

Hello everyone!

Spring is season of colour! I am not someone who can wear neutral clothes every single day and feel good. Sure, I absolutely love a badass black on black look but boring blacks, browns and greys get a little bit too monotonous for me! So, there are days when I go all out with colour and it makes me feel cheerful and excited!

Peach1

I am in love with the fluted skirt trend. It is so flattering as it cinches in at just the right place and has a girly flare at the bottom. This peach colour instantly speaks spring/summer to me!

Peach2

I did not want to pair this beautiful skirt with a neutral top and make it a dull outfit. So, I went ahead and played with a little animal print to give my look that much more interest.

Peach3

Peach5

Peach11

The splashed yellow animal print on my top is also reflected in these gorgeous pointy yellow sling-back shoes. I added a pair of gold heel chains to give the shoes a little something extra.

Peach4

Peach6

My love for waist belts is evident in this outfit too! Seriously guys, I have an unhealthy addiction to waist belts. I feel like any outfit can be made to look so much more chic just by throwing on a belt. Metallic belts are a godsend since they go with almost everything! I am especially in love with this latest addition to my collection. It has a cute gold bow in the front and a cut-out detail on the sides.

Peach8

Peach7

The whole look is tied together with jewelry. I am wearing a chain bracelet and another charm bracelet stacked together. My necklace is also a gold chain which goes perfectly with the heel chains on my shoes.

Peach9

Peach10

Of course, what summer look is complete without a little reflection in your sunglasses! Right? These have a yellow-pink tone that goes perfectly with my whole look.

OOTD – Laced & Caged

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Friday, 1st May 2015

Hello everyone!

Today’s post is the outfit I wore to the IndiBlogger – Zenfone 2 meet held on 23rd April!

G1

This lace top is actually a dress that I wore on my birthday! This is a great way to re-purpose your old iconic dresses that you’re hesitant to wear twice as a full-fledged dress. I love the full sleeved, lace back detail on this piece as it looks conservative yet sexy!

G4

G6

G7

I am drooling over these gladiator boots. I had been eyeing them for quite some time and bagged them earlier last month. You can see my HUGE SHOE HAUL HERE

G9

G11

G12

G13

I wore a black pencil skirt over my bodycon dress and threw on a peplum belt to add some sass and a little something extra.

G14

G15

G16

I finished the look with little gold accents and a black and gold clutch. I love how the orangy-red lips pop against this mostly black outfit. I wanted to keep the eyes gold and coppery so I skipped black and used a brown eyeliner to define the eyes. The gold and copper shadows used are by Sleek Makeup.

OOTD – Denim on Denim!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Tuesday, 21st April 2015

Hello everyone!

Today’s post is going to be about one of the biggest trends for this season – Denim!

Denim1

The casual appeal that denim has is unparalleled and it is a fabric that can be moulded to fit an evening look as well.

Denim7

Ripped jeans are one of my all time favourite pieces and a complete wardrobe must-have! This stunning pair can be styled in a multitude of ways but I wanted to create a more street-style appropriate look.

Denim3

Denim4

Denim8

Denim9

I rolled up the hem of my jeans to flaunt these gorgeous sandals!

Denim10

I love how the denim corset adds enough curves and class to instantly uplift a monotonous white shirt-blue jeans outfit.

Denim5

My white shirt has a black collar and a black lace detail so I wanted to match my accessories to create a more cohesive outfit and pull the whole look together. These peep toe sandals look perfect when paired with this ensemble while the bag is roomy enough to fulfil all my on-the-go needs!

Denim2

Since this is a casual outfit, I kept the makeup simple. This is the makeup look I gravitate towards on a daily basis.. You can check out my post on My Everyday Makeup Look to read all about how I do it and the products involved.

I finished the look with some gold jewellery.

OOTD – Yellow Bloom!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Monday, 13th April 2015

Hello everyone!

As you all may know I recently went to the IndiBlogger-Kose Meet and I wanted to share with you what I wore on that day.

Y11

If you’ve been following me for a bit, you’ll know that I’m obsessed with leotards (bodysuits). They stay tucked in without bunching up on the sides and look polished without any added effort. This nude leotard is one of my favourites as it goes with anything and everything I want to wear on the bottom.

Y5

Y6

Y2

With summer approaching, I love to rock bright hues and ditch the regular blacks and greys sometimes. Yellow is going to be a huge trend this spring/summer and this peplum maxi skirt is beyond gorgeous! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and knew I had to have right away. It is also available in blue, black and red but I love how bold and cheery yellow is.

Y4

Y7

Y1

Y8

Y3

I decided to add some interest with a lion head waist belt and blue chandelier earrings while the gold pumps finished the look perfectly!

Massive Shoe Haul!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Sunday, 22nd March 2015

Hello everyone!

If you know me at all, it would come as no surprise to you that I’m CRAZY about shoes! And I don’t just buy them one at a time, when I visit a store or look at websites, I hardly splurge on one! I can never convince myself that one would be enough. I am almost running out of space to keep these gorgeous pieces but, who cares right? I will just spread them out and sleep on them instead! Not that that would be particularly comfortable but considering how I am going, I may not have any other option soon! 😛

Let’s begin! –

1. Metallic Gold Pointed Pumps from Zara – Rs. 2990/-

Shoe2

Metallic shoes are everywhere! I have spotted them on the red carpet many times and spent hours searching for them online. The ones I found where either glittery or studded and not quite what I wanted. Then one fine day, I was strolling through my local Zara and BAM! They weren’t available in my size which was a big bad bummer so I requested them to find one in my size because I was not leaving the store without them! So they called somewhere and asked me to wait for 10 minutes which I happily did while drooling over the other shoes there. Then I tried them on and it was truly a Eureka moment! We were destined to be together, the rest is history! 🙂 I think you can still find them in Zara!

2. Knee-High Gladiator Sandals from Koovs – Rs. 4000/-

Shoe1

This is another love story! I had been looking for the perfect pair of knee high gladiator sandals in India but failed to spot one. They were only available on international websites like lolashoetique with a bomb of a shipping cost to India. I found these on Koovs but they were Rs. 4000/- and I was sceptical to pay that price. Then one morning, Koovs sent me an email saying they had a 30% off on shoes only between 12-2 pm and I think you can guess the first thing I did! I scored them at 2800/- and for that price, these stunning beauties are a total steal! I got the perfect size and they fit my legs like they were made for me! They’re by the brand No Doubt and are still available on the website but for Rs. 4000/-

Now I’m going to show you the shoes I got from StyleTag. It is an amazing website to find great deals on bags, clothes and shoes. All the ones that I’m going to show you were between 1400-2000 but I got them at a sweet deal of 70% off so I only ended up paying around 650 for each pair! Yes, I know I’m a savvy online shopper! <Makes Cool Girl Expression> They texted me the coupon code and the deal was only applicable for a few hours. You can subscribe to them to receive messages and emails for the current deals and they almost always have at least 30% on the entire website.

3. Studded Black Pumps from StyleTag

Shoe8

These look navy with the flash but they’re black in real life. They’re sturdy and comfortable and great quality for the price that I paid.

4. Strappy Black Peep Toes from StyleTag

Shoe10

These are also very black in real life and are surprisingly very comfortable since they lock your foot in the shoe!

5. Strappy Orange Pumps from StyleTag

Shoe11

Also very comfortable! The straps form an “X” in front of the foot and add to the comfort factor by holding the foot so you don’t fall out of your shoe.

6. Mesh Insert Red Pumps from StyleTag

Shoe9

The heel height is only around 3.5 inches which is my most comfortable heel height. I love how the black mesh gives a peek-a-boo effect. It shows some skin, yet it doesn’t!

7. Brown Studded Peep Toe Booties from StyleTag

Shoe7

Again, the most comfortable heel height! They’re tan, they’re studded! I’m in love!

This is all I got from StyleTag, the rest of the shoes are from Stilettos in Sarojini Nagar. Since I’m a “privileged customer”, I get a 10% off my entire purchase including fresh stock items. These shoes touched my heart and I just couldn’t resist!

 8. Leopard Print Suede Pumps from Stilettos – Rs. 1499/-

Shoe13

I am absolutely obsessed with animal print. Leopard print, zebra print, tiger print, snake print, crocodile print et al but leopard print is my ultimate favourite! These pumps were love at first sight.

9. Zebra Print Suede Pumps from Stilettos – Rs. 1499/-

Shoe12

Again, love at first sight!

10. Pink Block Heeled Pumps With Gold Accents from Stilettos – Rs. 1699/-

Shoe14

They look purple under the flash but they’re hot pink in reality. I love the little gold accent on the sides. It gives the shoes a little extra something. Also, the bubblegum pink bottom sole is adorable!

11. Blue Peep Toe Pumps With Gold Accents – Rs. 1399/-

Shoe15

Loving the little gold leaf accent at the back which looks especially sexy as you walk!

This is it for my insane shoe haul but there’s more! I also went to Forever21 and bought 4 boots! They were having an end of season sale and by now you know that I just have no control when it comes to shoes! 😛 I’m going to show them in another post which is going to be a Forever21 haul so stay tuned.

Also, visit the “Everyday Outfits” category to see these in action. I have a ton of new outfits coming up!

Outfit Of The Day – LBD!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Tuesday, 18th November 2014

Hello everyone!

LBDs are a classic and for good reason. They can be dressed down during the day and dressed up during the night. Plus, they can be styled in a variety of ways making them a very versatile piece in your wardrobe. They’re definitely a must have for every girl!

Here is an example with a gorgeous little black dress by Missa More. They have a lovely collection of other dresses and many other trendy pieces and their prices are friendly on the pocket too.

So, here is my outfit :

MissaMore1

I kept the make up simple and fresh with basic winged liner and glossy pink lips. You can check out My Everyday Makeup Look Here.

MissaMore3

Of course it can be worn as is but I styled the LBD with a coral blazer and red sparkly pumps! This dress can also be worn as a top with a flowy maxi skirt!

MY BIG SHOE HAUL!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Tuesday, 15th April 2014

Hello everyone!

As promised in my last post, Huge Sarojini Nagar Clothes Haul, I will be showing you the shoes that I got recently! This huge haul is a result of various shopping trips and online orders spread over a few months! I am a Shopaholic, I know that! 😛 I usually wait till I accumulate a haul worthy amount of stuff and then post a collective haul! You may have already seen some of these pairs in my outfit posts.

Image

Purple Pumps – Rs. 799/- from http://www.thefashionchor.com

They are called “Hot Pink” patent pumps on the site and let me tell you, they are nowhere near hot pink! They’re definitely purple.

Image

Neon Orange Patent Pumps – Rs. 799/- from http://www.thefashionchor.com

These are neon orange on the site and they are truly neon orange! However, I am extremely disappointed with their service. They clearly mention their return policy on the website. I ordered a size 36 and they’re too tight. I wanted to return them for a size 37 but despite several emails and annoying form filling, they haven’t replied to my requests! Now I have to find a way to stretch them out! 😦

Image

Nude Peep Toes with Studs and Spikes – Rs. 1100 from TGIP, Noida. I don’t remember the name of the exact shop!

Image

Grey Scalloped Pumps – Rs. 899/- http://www.streetstylestore.com

Image

Golden Sparkle Wedges – Rs. 1299/- from http://www.streetstylestore.com

Image

Animal Print Pumps – Rs. 899/- from http://www.streetstylestore.com

Image

Royal Blue Booties – Originally Rs. 1300/- but on sale for Rs. 650/- from Stilettos ( Sarojini Nagar )

Image

White and Gold Sandals – Rs. 495/- from Stilettos ( Sarojini Nagar )

Image

Black Studded Booties – Originally Rs. 2400/- but on sale for Rs. 1200/- from Dolphin Shoes ( Sarojini Nagar )

Image

Silver Pumps with Flowers – Rs. 600/- from Fashion.com ( Sarojini Nagar )

F11

Gladiator Wedges – Rs. 2200/- from Forever21

This is it for my shoe haul. Another haul on accessories like jewelry and handbags will be up soon!

HUGE SAROJINI NAGAR CLOTHES HAUL!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Sunday, 13th April 2014

Hello everyone!

Sarojini Nagar hauls are my favorite! You can find amazing clothes at throw away prices! Its almost unbelievable! I will be showing you what I got from Sarojini recently. This huge haul is a result of a few different trips to Sarojini. Also, I went to Sarojini on a Monday! The market stays closed on Mondays but when I went for the first time, I found that the majority of shops were open. There are also bundles of clothes on the floor and the sellers shouting 3 for 100 or 10 rupees each! Cant believe it right? However, it takes a lot of effort and time to rummage through the endless bundles and find a few things you may like. But, it is definitely worth it because I sure found some very interesting pieces!

I also bought shoes, bags and jewelry but I plan to do a separate shoe haul and another accessories haul, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Let’s start with what I bought on a “regular” day :

Image

Yellow and Hot Pink Button Downs with Collar Studs – Rs. 175/- each

Image

Peplum Shirt – Rs. 200/-

Image

Blue and White Top – Rs. 150/-

Image

Black and White Striped Shirt with Skull Buttons – Rs. 150/-

Image

Coral Shirt with Gold Studs – Rs. 200/-

Image

Blue Cold Shoulder Top with Collar Studs – Rs. 200/-

Image

Green Sequined Crop T-Shirt – Rs. 150/-

Image

Black T-Shirt with Gold Studs – Rs. 150/-

Image

Corset – Rs. 150/-

Image

Lace Skirt – Rs. 200/-

Image

Burgundy Hi-Low Skirt – Rs. 200/-

Image

Gold Sequinned Skirt – Rs. 200/-

Image

Camouflage Shirt – Rs. 200/-

Image

Grey Bodycon Dress – Rs. 200/-

And now for the really fun part!

Image

Image

Image

Image

All of these 4 were only Rs. 50/- each!

Image

Sheer Maxi Skirt – Rs. 35/-

Image

Green Cropped Top – Rs. 35/-

Image

Sheer Hi-Low Skirt – Rs. 35/- I intend to cut the black ruffles off.

Image

Silver One Shoulder Dress – Rs. 10/-

Image

Shirt – Rs. 10/-

Image

Grey Shirt Jacket – Rs. 10/-

Image

Animal Print Top – Rs. 10/-

Unbelievable right? You have to remember that some of these clothes may be used/worn previously. Please wash them thoroughly before wearing. They may not fit well or need some altering but then again it is not a huge loss even if they don’t!

This is it for my clothes haul. A shoe haul and an accessories haul is going to be up soon!

Please go to the “Outfits Of The Day” category to see these clothes in action!

A Small Shoe Haul!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Tuesday, 25th February 2014

Hello everyone!

If you’ve been following my blog, It may come as no surprise to you that I love shoes! And every shopping ends up turning into shoe shopping!

So, I did some damage recently. Well, not too much since I only have four pairs.

Image

This is a pair of black faux leather wedge booties. I bought from The Heels in Cannaught Place for Rs. 899/-

Image

This is a pair of genuine leather black booties that I bought online from http://www.streetstylestore.com. They were originally around Rs. 6000/- but I found them on sale for Rs. 999/- 😀 After that there probably were only one or two sizes left so they were reduced further down to Rs. 699/-

Unfortunately, I don’t think you can find them anymore! But, the site does have a lot of other amazing shoes at great prices!

Image

Image

I am more of a heels girl than a flats girl. But, there are just times when you want to change your shoes and be comfortable or when you have to walk a lot, flats are your best bet! I bought these from Kins in Lajpat Nagar. They were Rs. 350/- for one and Rs. 600/- for two.

I hope you enjoyed reading!
