Sleek Makeup Haul!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Wednesday, 28th January 2015

Hello everyone,

If you’ve been following me for a minute, you know that I’m obsessed with Sleek Makeup. Every single product I’ve tried from Sleek, I’ve fallen in love with (though I’m yet to try their base makeup). You can purchase these products from Sleek’s website or via Luxola.

So, without further delay, let’s get to the products :

1. Eyebrow Kit in “Dark”

Sleek4

Since the day I got this, I haven’t been able to set it down. I’ve been using it constantly as much brow fixer. And notice that little pair of tweezers, super adorable! I use the angled brush provided to carve out the shape of my eyebrows with the eyebrow wax. Then fill in and set the whole brow with the powder using an Inglot brush.

2. True Colour Matte Lipsticks in “Papaya Punch” and “Mystic”. Sheen Lipstick in “Liqueur”. Matte Me Liquid Lipstick in “Rioja Red”.

Sleek5

I am a matte lipstick lover! The liquid lipstick is a budge proof bang on red. I have always wanted to try purple lipstick and thought it would be perfect to try one now and I’m so glad I did because I’m completely hooked. The orange shade perks up my complexion instantly and eliminates any dullness from the face. It will suit most people with a fair skin tone. The nude shade however, unfortunately does not look great on me!

3. I-Divine Eyeshadow Palettes in “Au Naturel” and “The Original”

Sleek2 Sleek8

I own 5-6 of these palettes because they’re high quality and more than worth the price you pay. I got the natural one for everyday use and the original palette because it had some fun blue-green shades.

4. Blush By 3 in “Pink Lemonade”

Sleek7

This one contains a gorgeous cream blush flanked by beautiful shimmery blushes. The pigmentation on these blushes is unreal and they also perform well for hours on the cheeks.

5. Single Blushes in “Rose Gold” and “Pomegranate”

Sleek3

I have 4 blush palettes and wanted to try some singlets from the range. The left one is a breathtaking rose gold (the camera did not do it justice) and the right one is a great versatile plum shade, perfect for fall/winters.

This is it for my Sleek Makeup Haul!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Friday 9th August 2013

What Sleek claims :

The ultimate blush palette with 3 complementary shades in one mirrored compact.

  • Layer the varying finishes for greater intensity, or apply alone for a burst of full-on pigmentation.
  • The versatile shimmer shades can be used to highlight areas of the face that naturally catch the light for a luminous finish.

Please excuse the dirty packaging, I have used this blush palette like no other!

My Thoughts :

I really like the packaging. It comes with a giant mirror and looks classy.

The only problem is that the packaging is matte black so it tends to get dirty easily. Like NARS packaging.

This is one of the best blushes I own. It comes with 3 shades that are so convenient. They look absolutely gorgeous on the skin!

L-R Chantily, Guipure, Crochet

The left and right one are matte and the center one is a rose gold shade.

The matte blushes look absolutely natural on the skin and the shimmery one catches the light in a wonderful way.

Chantily is a bright matte orange shade.

Guipure is a shimmery rose gold shade.

Crochet is a matte coral shade.

All of them are amazing. They blend beautifully. This product doesn’t have any offensive smell.

Staying power is also pretty good. The matte shades stay on me for a good 5-6 hours and the shimmery one stays for longer.

All of them are highly pigmented. However, the middle shade is slightly less pigmented than the other two. I like to use it as a highlighter sometimes or just over the other two very carefully. It provides an amazing glow to the skin without looking OTT

The GOOD :

1. Extremely pigmented.

2. Awesome staying power.

3. Will last a long time as you don’t require too much.

4. Travel friendly ( comes with a gigantic mirror ).

5. Matte and shimmer in one single palette.

6. Decently priced.

The COULD BE BETTER :

I think the only issue with this is availability.

Will I recommend and repurchase?

Yes! I LOVE this palette! I don’t think I will need to repurchase it anytime soon but I will recommend it to everyone. I want to try other blushes from sleek makeup.

Buy it for $12.49 for 20 gm ( Rs. 758 Aprroximately + Shipping ) here :
