My Shopping Experience With Jabong.com!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Monday, 11th May 2015

Hello everyone!

This post is going to be about my very smooth shopping experience with www.jabong.com! If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I’m a complete online shopping buff. You can sit in your pyjamas, sipping wine, browsing through their unending collection of awesome stuff and have it delivered in a matter of a few days!

Jabong1

The first and the foremost thing that I absolutely dig about Jabong is that they offer an endless array of clothes, shoes, bags, makeup, perfumes et al. Likewise for the darker sex! You’re bound to find something you fancy due to the sheer volume of products they stock. But fret not, they make sure that you’re not drowned with the variety of options, instead, they have made it much, much easier than many other websites to browse through exactly what you need with their filters. You can customise your search with user-friendly filters like gender, size, colour, type, brand etc.

Jabong2

The products were packed securely in a plastic bag with undamaged shoes in their respective boxes inside!

I had ordered a pair of black ankle booties first, but unfortunately due to incorrect size, I had to return them. I loved how their customer service team was quick to respond even at odd hours of the day to assist me with any query I had about my order. They made sure I felt safe and that I received my due credits in time to successfully place my order again.

Jabong5

This time, I ordered one pair of carrot peep toe block heels and another pair of houndstooth pumps, both by the brand “My Foot”. They arrived within two days of placing the order and I was delighted to receive them so promptly!

Jabong3

Finalising on a product is made much easier on the website with 6-8 clear pictures of the product displayed with an option to zoom in. I love these carrot colored peep toe heels. They have a heel height of 5 inches and seem sturdy and great value for money.

Jabong4

These houndstooth pumps stole my heart as soon as I saw them! They have a heel height of 4.5 inches and are surprisingly very comfortable!

Jabong usually has incredible offers going on and they keep you updated with any new lucrative deals through text messages so you don’t miss out on any. Being an online shopping addict, this has proven to be useful a lot of times!

Overall, I had a lovely shopping experience with Jabong and will most definitely be a returning customer on the regular. I suggest you all to give the website a quick browse through so you can get an idea of what you’ll find. Though, I am sure you wont leave the website empty cart-ed! 😛

You can score some pretty great deals through their mobile app as well. Get it HERE

I hope this post was helpful to you! 🙂

Massive Shoe Haul!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Sunday, 22nd March 2015

Hello everyone!

If you know me at all, it would come as no surprise to you that I’m CRAZY about shoes! And I don’t just buy them one at a time, when I visit a store or look at websites, I hardly splurge on one! I can never convince myself that one would be enough. I am almost running out of space to keep these gorgeous pieces but, who cares right? I will just spread them out and sleep on them instead! Not that that would be particularly comfortable but considering how I am going, I may not have any other option soon! 😛

Let’s begin! –

1. Metallic Gold Pointed Pumps from Zara – Rs. 2990/-

Shoe2

Metallic shoes are everywhere! I have spotted them on the red carpet many times and spent hours searching for them online. The ones I found where either glittery or studded and not quite what I wanted. Then one fine day, I was strolling through my local Zara and BAM! They weren’t available in my size which was a big bad bummer so I requested them to find one in my size because I was not leaving the store without them! So they called somewhere and asked me to wait for 10 minutes which I happily did while drooling over the other shoes there. Then I tried them on and it was truly a Eureka moment! We were destined to be together, the rest is history! 🙂 I think you can still find them in Zara!

2. Knee-High Gladiator Sandals from Koovs – Rs. 4000/-

Shoe1

This is another love story! I had been looking for the perfect pair of knee high gladiator sandals in India but failed to spot one. They were only available on international websites like lolashoetique with a bomb of a shipping cost to India. I found these on Koovs but they were Rs. 4000/- and I was sceptical to pay that price. Then one morning, Koovs sent me an email saying they had a 30% off on shoes only between 12-2 pm and I think you can guess the first thing I did! I scored them at 2800/- and for that price, these stunning beauties are a total steal! I got the perfect size and they fit my legs like they were made for me! They’re by the brand No Doubt and are still available on the website but for Rs. 4000/-

Now I’m going to show you the shoes I got from StyleTag. It is an amazing website to find great deals on bags, clothes and shoes. All the ones that I’m going to show you were between 1400-2000 but I got them at a sweet deal of 70% off so I only ended up paying around 650 for each pair! Yes, I know I’m a savvy online shopper! <Makes Cool Girl Expression> They texted me the coupon code and the deal was only applicable for a few hours. You can subscribe to them to receive messages and emails for the current deals and they almost always have at least 30% on the entire website.

3. Studded Black Pumps from StyleTag

Shoe8

These look navy with the flash but they’re black in real life. They’re sturdy and comfortable and great quality for the price that I paid.

4. Strappy Black Peep Toes from StyleTag

Shoe10

These are also very black in real life and are surprisingly very comfortable since they lock your foot in the shoe!

5. Strappy Orange Pumps from StyleTag

Shoe11

Also very comfortable! The straps form an “X” in front of the foot and add to the comfort factor by holding the foot so you don’t fall out of your shoe.

6. Mesh Insert Red Pumps from StyleTag

Shoe9

The heel height is only around 3.5 inches which is my most comfortable heel height. I love how the black mesh gives a peek-a-boo effect. It shows some skin, yet it doesn’t!

7. Brown Studded Peep Toe Booties from StyleTag

Shoe7

Again, the most comfortable heel height! They’re tan, they’re studded! I’m in love!

This is all I got from StyleTag, the rest of the shoes are from Stilettos in Sarojini Nagar. Since I’m a “privileged customer”, I get a 10% off my entire purchase including fresh stock items. These shoes touched my heart and I just couldn’t resist!

 8. Leopard Print Suede Pumps from Stilettos – Rs. 1499/-

Shoe13

I am absolutely obsessed with animal print. Leopard print, zebra print, tiger print, snake print, crocodile print et al but leopard print is my ultimate favourite! These pumps were love at first sight.

9. Zebra Print Suede Pumps from Stilettos – Rs. 1499/-

Shoe12

Again, love at first sight!

10. Pink Block Heeled Pumps With Gold Accents from Stilettos – Rs. 1699/-

Shoe14

They look purple under the flash but they’re hot pink in reality. I love the little gold accent on the sides. It gives the shoes a little extra something. Also, the bubblegum pink bottom sole is adorable!

11. Blue Peep Toe Pumps With Gold Accents – Rs. 1399/-

Shoe15

Loving the little gold leaf accent at the back which looks especially sexy as you walk!

This is it for my insane shoe haul but there’s more! I also went to Forever21 and bought 4 boots! They were having an end of season sale and by now you know that I just have no control when it comes to shoes! 😛 I’m going to show them in another post which is going to be a Forever21 haul so stay tuned.

Also, visit the “Everyday Outfits” category to see these in action. I have a ton of new outfits coming up!

MY BIG SHOE HAUL!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Tuesday, 15th April 2014

Hello everyone!

As promised in my last post, Huge Sarojini Nagar Clothes Haul, I will be showing you the shoes that I got recently! This huge haul is a result of various shopping trips and online orders spread over a few months! I am a Shopaholic, I know that! 😛 I usually wait till I accumulate a haul worthy amount of stuff and then post a collective haul! You may have already seen some of these pairs in my outfit posts.

Image

Purple Pumps – Rs. 799/- from http://www.thefashionchor.com

They are called “Hot Pink” patent pumps on the site and let me tell you, they are nowhere near hot pink! They’re definitely purple.

Image

Neon Orange Patent Pumps – Rs. 799/- from http://www.thefashionchor.com

These are neon orange on the site and they are truly neon orange! However, I am extremely disappointed with their service. They clearly mention their return policy on the website. I ordered a size 36 and they’re too tight. I wanted to return them for a size 37 but despite several emails and annoying form filling, they haven’t replied to my requests! Now I have to find a way to stretch them out! 😦

Image

Nude Peep Toes with Studs and Spikes – Rs. 1100 from TGIP, Noida. I don’t remember the name of the exact shop!

Image

Grey Scalloped Pumps – Rs. 899/- http://www.streetstylestore.com

Image

Golden Sparkle Wedges – Rs. 1299/- from http://www.streetstylestore.com

Image

Animal Print Pumps – Rs. 899/- from http://www.streetstylestore.com

Image

Royal Blue Booties – Originally Rs. 1300/- but on sale for Rs. 650/- from Stilettos ( Sarojini Nagar )

Image

White and Gold Sandals – Rs. 495/- from Stilettos ( Sarojini Nagar )

Image

Black Studded Booties – Originally Rs. 2400/- but on sale for Rs. 1200/- from Dolphin Shoes ( Sarojini Nagar )

Image

Silver Pumps with Flowers – Rs. 600/- from Fashion.com ( Sarojini Nagar )

One Dress, Five Ways!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Friday, 27th September 2013

I always wonder that we buy so many dresses and wear them only once! So, I wanted to share with you some of my ideas on how you can sneakily repeat your dress and still look like you’re wearing a new outfit every time! Just don’t do it consecutively 😛

So here is the dress that I’m going to play with today!

Image

In the first three outfits, I’m going to use this dress as a top.

Image

Here I have paired high waisted black trousers with the dress. The sweetheart neckline of the dress gives the outfit a sexy look and the red satin pumps add to sultry feel. This is a night-out ready outfit!

Image

This outfit is boho chic with a twist. The flared maxi skirt is very feminine and adds to effortless sexy look.

Image

This is a more day appropriate look. Red and green are complementary colors and work really well together. The casual feel of the colored denim balances the edginess of the dress. And Flats. To run! 😛

Image

Here, I have used the dress as a tunic. This is a more fall/winter appropriate look. You can further change the look by adding a trench coat!

For the last look :

Image

I’ve kept it corporate classy. Everything looks better with a blazer! 😛

Ooh! And a Hat! 🙂

I hope you enjoyed my pairings and how to wear a dress in multiple ways!
