OOTD – Caged & Houndstooth

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Saturday, 27th February 2015

Hello everyone!

The winters have finally come to their close and spring is right around the corner. This is one of the outfits I posted on my social media as a Valentine’s Day look for those of you who like to experiment and go bold. I would totally rock this look for date nights and parties as well. You can stalk me on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with all my updates!

Seen on me here is a gorgeous red jacket from StalkBuyLove that I have tucked into a red and black houndstooth pencil skirt from Sarojini Nagar.

I like to add fun accessories to my look to add a little something extra and make it my own. This lion head belt is one of my favourites from 20Dresses! My studded and spiked winged tote is from a new brand called Mese.

Coming to the show-stopper shoes, these are my dearest gladiator knee-highs that I got a while ago from Koovs and they are surprisingly quite comfortable. I kept the look jewellery free as every everything else speaks for itself.

OOTD – Monochrome Chic With Ornabliss

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Saturday, 16th January 2016

Hello everyone!

I hope you’re all having a great start to the year. I’m energized and ready to take on the new year with fresh challenges, new projects and many things to look forward to. As spring awaits, I’m enjoying the crisp winter and the accompaniments while it all lasts.

Being the shoe-o-holic that I am, I came across this amazing page on Instagram called Ornabliss. They stock a huge variety of accessories including gorgeous, drool-worthy shoes and stunning bags. Featured here are a pair of super chic monochrome wedge boots with gold accents and I must add, these were love at first sight! I am a regular high-heel wearer and feel fairly comfortable in a 4 inch heel. These however, are 5 inches tall and still feel more comfortable than some of my other skyscrapers. The padded wedge and front platform adds to the comfort and I can last in them all night!

The handbag I am carrying is also by Ornabliss and is very spacious to carry around my daily necessities. I’m in love with the adorable yet elegant bow in the front because it adds some pep to a plain black tote.

I have paired these beautiful accessories with an equally stunning velvet high-neck bodysuit from StalkBuyLove, leather pants from Forever21, blazer from Sarojini Nagar and kept the jewellery at bay.

OOTD – Party Peplum with Zumbasa

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Friday, 4th September 2015

Hello everyone!

If you’ve been following me for a bit, you know my love for peplum! ❤

Zumbasa3

I don’t care if it’s out of fashion, I’ll continue to wear it till I think it’s pretty! It is so forgiving (i.e. hides your food baby) and comfortable to wear. So, you can comprehend that when I found this stunning white dress on Zumbasa, I was blown away!

Dresses are so easy to style and only need the right accessories to take your look to the next level. This one already comes with a gold metallic belt that can be used with other things in your closet too!

I decided to take the all-white route to keep the look fresh and clean and styled the pretty tube dress with sky high white pumps. I wanted the jewelry to complement my gold belt so I wore a minimalist necklace, some fun rings and a chain bracelet in gold. To add a little bit of extra something, I threw on a pair of heel chains on my feet which gives my plain white pumps a whole new feel!

The best part is that I have a discount code for you! You can shop whatever you want from Zumbasa and get a cool discount by using the code : “AISHWARYA15” at checkout! Happy Shopping! 😀

I have also created a glam outfit to pair with this look. I am wearing a gorgeous spiked corset from Madish The Style Bar that I got a while ago. A form-fitting black pencil skirt is what I decided on to let the corset shine in focus. Thrown over is a blazer which in my opinion, transforms the whole look into an upscale red carpet attire.

Also seen on me is a black and gold clutch from Accessorize and gold pointed Zara pumps!

OOTD – Sareez and Grace!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Thursday, 23rd July 2015

Hello everyone!

When I was a little girl, I used to daydream about the day when I could wear a saree without it being inappropriate! Now that I’m 23 and have worn the wonderful garment quite a few times, I still get a wee bit excited to don the womanly piece.

I proudly own a handful of them in my closet and I’m gradually building my collection of wonderful sarees! As I have a close friendly wedding to attend, I started scouring the internet for my “it-saree”. When I landed at sareez.com, I was pleasantly surprised to see the immense variety they offer. From every imaginable fabric to endless colour and finish options, you’ll definitely find something of your liking and taste. They also cater to every pocket and budget so you are bound to end your search with something beautiful within your quoted price.

I am not gonna deny that I have a special place in my heart for black sarees. I already own 4-5 black sarees but I just can’t get enough. Here is one I picked up from Sareez.com. Hope you like the pictures! 🙂

OOTD – Edgy Red

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Monday, 29th June 2015

Hello everyone.

Today’s post is about the outfit that I wore to the Jabong Beauty Blogger Meet.

Seen on me is a gorgeous red floral dress that I designed. I love simple, sweet and girly summer dresses in this hot weather. I purchased the cloth from my local store and designed this understated dress with quarters sleeves and a skater style. Such dresses are incredibly comfortable and look super cute on their own but I wanted to take it a step further with accessories.

I decided to edge up an otherwise girl next door dress with a broad belt and gladiator heels. A black tote was my bag of choice to carry all my essentials in. I especially love how the heart sunglasses match so perfectly with my dress!

OOTD – Boho Vibes!

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Monday, 22nd June 2015

Hello everyone!

I bought a lot of fun skirts from Sarojini Nagar recently (haul video will be up soon) so, I wanted to create a boho inspired look. I usually like to dress up in sophisticated, clean lines and structured, fitted clothes but I wanted to venture out of my little comfortable space and create an all-new look.

This is my take on boho. I have paired this beautiful embellished crop top that I’ve had lying in the back of my closet since ages. The skirt is a stunning plain black maxi skirt with a side slit that gives it just a little something extra.

I decided to add a modern take to this look by pairing gold metallic pointed-toe pumps. Of course, you can rock a pair of strappy or gladiator flats with this look too. My handbag is a simple black clutch with gold accents.

The star of this look for me is the choker. I found this breathtaking choker in Sarojini Nagar and it was a steal! The rest of the jewelry is kept to a minimum with the exception of a minimal arm cuff.
