Deborah Milano Perfect Smokey Eye Palettes in Bronze, Rose & Khaki Review!

Hello everyone!

If you have been following my channel on YouTube, you know how much I adore mysterious, smokey eyes. I recently received these beautiful Deborah Milano Smokey Eye Palettes and I have used them quite a bit.

DB1

They retail for Rs. 850/- per palette and each set comes equipped with 5 shades, which ensures that you do not need to reach for any other shadows to complete your smokey eye look.

DB2

There are a total of 8 palettes in this collection and each one is special in it’s own way. Ranging from blues to khakis, purples to bronzes, there is a palette to suit everyone’s fancy.

Khaki

They swatch really well on the arms, giving complete pigmentation in one swipe itself. Brushes also pick up the shadows in high intensity so you have to make sure you tap off the excess product to not end up with too much on your eyes. They are easy to blend and last for 6-8 hours on me since I do not have oily eyelids. You can of course apply an eye shadow primer to make them even more intense and last longer.

In conclusion, I think they are a great item to have in your vanity. The matte shadows in the palettes are just as good as the shimmery ones. I definitely recommend you to give them a try! 🙂

What’s In My December 2014 Fab Bag?

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Monday, 15th December 2014

Hello everyone,

As promised, I’m back with the December post! This month’s bag was beyond exciting for me! This is why :FabMag

I won in the “Best Party Look” category! Thank you to FabBag for featuring me in their Fab Post magazine! <Does Happy Dance>

Here is what the December bag looks like :Fab7

This was a Christmas themed bag!

Fab1

Let’s get to the products inside :

1. Deborah Milano Rossetto Atomic Red Lipstick – 05

Fab4

This lipstick is moderately pigmented and has a sheen finish.I am more of a matte lipstick girl though. I have received three red lipsticks from Fab Bag including this one and two of them are glossy. But anyway, who can have enough red lipsticks?

2. Tattva Body Butter – Peach Grapes & Cherry Blossom & Lip Scrub – Vanilla Cinnamon

Fab3

The body butter has a very mixed scent of various fruits. I have lost count of the number of body butters that I have received over time from Fab Bag. It came with a sugar lip scrub which I am really excited about. They say we can just lick it off after it melts. It contains cinnamon so I’m hoping to see some extra smooth plump lips!

3. Kronokare Itsy Bitsy Massage Addict Kit – Cooling & Detoxifying

Fab2

This was one of the not so exciting products for me. They have previously sent me a ginger scented shower gel and body lotion combo which I dint like because of the smell. The cooling massage oil is probably not going to be of much use right now because we’re in the middle of winter but I can use the detoxifying one.

4. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation – 52 Vanilla

Fab6

I have heard so many good things about this foundation and have been wanting to try it for a long time but never got around to it. Its like they heard me! And they matched me perfectly! This has to be my favorite product of the bunch. I will definitely get the full size of it if I like it.

5. IndieEco Luxury Handcrafted Candle – Lemongrass

Fab5

I love scented candles! They’re romantic and they enhance the atmosphere. This one smells like fresh lemongrass which is a tad too citrusy for the bedroom but it will be a great refreshing bathroom scent.

Here is what I got overall :

Fab9

This month’s Fab Bag held a very pleasant surprise for me since I was featured in the magazine. As for the actual products, the most exciting ones are the foundation and the lip scrub. I am happy with the lipstick and the candle too. The travel size body butter will come in handy for on-the-go moisturization. The massage oils were not so exciting. I’m glad they included at least two makeup products and it was not loaded with only skin and hair care.

What’s In My July 2014 Fab Bag?

By Aishwarya Kaushal, Sunday, 3rd August 2014

Hello everyone!

My Fab Bag subscription ended in May but I was so fed up of receiving vivel, cetaphil and body washes that I didn’t want to renew. So, I skipped on the June Fab Bag. After reading some raves about the July Bag I decided to renew my subscription.

This is what the bag looks like :

Fab2

The theme this month was “Double Trouble”!

Fab3

Here is what I received this month :

1. Iraya Wheatgerm Facial Massage Creme

Fab5

I’m only 22 and I don’t really believe in facials unless you’re 30. So, this is a waste product for me. I might give it to someone or use it as a body moisturizer. This would’ve been a great product for someone over 30.

2. BioBloom Hair Strengthening Oil + Cleanser Kit

Fab7

I would like to try the oil but the shampoo has a very pungent Ginger/Herb scent. I’m not sure if I want that kind of scent in my hair!

3. Deborah Milano II Rossetto Lipstick – 516 + Lipliner – 07

Fab4

I wonder when FabBag will stop sending me frosted lipsticks. I have received three frosted lipsticks now including this and I don’t wear frosted lipstick. What a shame! I’ll have to give it to someone too. The lip liner is lovely though. I wish they had sent only a full sized lip liner instead.

4. Free Sample – Vivel Cell Renew Deep Smoothing Body Lotion.

Fab6

Since this is a bonus product, I’m not going to complain too much but this is the second time we have received the same lotion and Vivel! Really? Vivel!

Anyway, here is what I got overall :

Fab1

This was an unfortunate bag for me. Had I been someone who is over 30 and enjoys facials or wears frosted lipstick, I would’ve been ecstatic but sadly, I am not. They really should pay attention to their consumer’s needs and preferences. Especially when they have all the information required because we fill a quiz.
