Hello everyone!
My Vellvette bag arrived early this month. Oh no wait, its Fab Bag now!
Anyway, I am glad they’re sending out bags early in time for Christmas and New Year.
I always appreciate the bags they give every month. They’re so much better than boxes and these bags are really useful as makeup bags and also come in handy for travel.
The theme was Happy New You!
Here is what I got :
1. Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
I am happy with this product. My cuticles get really dry especially during winters. I use Olive Oil on them every night. Let’s see how this works.
2. Kama Ayurveda Lavender Patchouli Hair Conditioner
I have so many Kama Ayurveda samples from hotels, magazines etc though this is a good size sample. Plus this smells really strong. I don’t want such a strong Lavender scent in my hair. They also have brands like Kerastase, Lush, Toni&Guy in their brand portfolio but I haven’t received any product from them. I would prefer to receive a sample from higher end brands so that I can try the products before spending big bucks on them! Isn’t this the whole concept of a beauty bag anyway?
3. LA Splash Nail Splash – Blowfish Red
Who doesn’t have a red nail polish? Maybe I was just unlucky! I have seen some beautiful glitter shades in other bags. I am just disappointed in mine! Let’s hope that at least the formula is amazing!
4. Bonus : Anna Andre Nail Enamel Remover
Eh! What do I say about this? Its just a nail polish remover which is always good to have and it was a bonus product so I am not really complaining!
I am not too happy with this month’s bag. There was no makeup product. I want makeup! Not nail polish remover. I think the only product I am happy about is the cuticle cream. Last month’s bag was really good and I had high hopes for this month since it is the last bag of the year.
Anyway, Here is what I got overall :

I am really disappointed with my bag.
I was expecting atleast 1 good product. Not going to subscribe now. Wasted my pocket money on this stuffs 😦
Well, it is better to spend on something you’ve been wanting to buy. At least you know you’ll get exactly what you want!
I, however, like the element of surprise. Plus, there’re always the hope that next month’s bag will be better! Last month’s bag was quite satisfactory!
Anyway, Thank You very much for reading! 🙂
Same here.. even I wasnt really happy with this month’s bag. The only exciting product is the burt bee’s lip butter that they gave me! Fingers crossed fr the bext one!
P.s. loved ur blog 🙂
Yes, that is why we still remain subscribed! Hoping that the next one would be better! 😛

Hey, Aishwarya!
I would have readily taken the Red nail polish… the pink/blue glitter ones I got are a little too much for me, to be honest. 😛
I tried out the glitter blue on top of a Sally Hansen blue nail paint. It doesn’t look too bad, but I don’t think I need that much glam in my life! The pink one I haven’t tried yet.
Thanks for visiting my blog! 🙂
Haha!
It is the festival season so I would’ve preferred something jazzy! I already have 5-6 different reds and it is a very basic nail polish colour that every girl tends to have.
